Ukraine's acting Foreign Minister, Andrii Sybiha, has sparked a heated diplomatic debate after accusing Iran of supplying Russia with weapons used in the war against Ukraine.

In a message posted on X.com, Sybiha said Iran was incapable of portraying itself as a victim, insisting that its threats were “baseless” and that the country was “extremely tired.”

The statement has raised new tensions in international relations, highlighting how the Ukraine crisis is increasingly involving countries outside Eastern Europe. Sybiha rejected what she called Tehran’s attempts to justify its position using the UN Charter.
