Iran said on Friday it had attacked infrastructure in Gulf states and warned it was ready to "respond with greater force" following the US attacks.
A month ago, Iran and the United States agreed to a brief ceasefire after allowing for broad negotiations to resolve their differences. However, the confrontation between the two sides has continued at an alarming pace.
Iran has continued to target civilian infrastructure including airports, railways and bridges in a seventh day of military strikes inside Iran. The move comes after Tehran retaliated on Friday with strikes targeting an oil refinery in Kuwait as well as power and seawater desalination plants, according to officials in the small Persian Gulf state.
According to a statement issued by Iranian officials, the attack was aimed at important economic and infrastructure targets to force their Gulf counterparts and the United States to stop hostile actions.
