According to reports reported by Israeli media, senior government officials in the country were left stunned after discovering that US President Donald Trump had decided to call off a major military strike against Iran through a message he posted on his Truth Social network, instead of receiving official information through the usual secure communication channels between Washington and Tel Aviv.
The report, released by Israel's Channel 12 television station, says Israeli security officials expected to receive advance notice given the close military and intelligence ties between the two countries.
