His speech comes as the world closely watches the changing balance of power in the Persian Gulf.
"When they started the war, their goal was to defeat Iran within 48 hours. Today is the 184th day, they have lost all their military bases and helped Iran take control of Hormuz. Thank you very much Donald Trump, in a few days we will reach the 100 Billion Dollar revenue generated from the Hormuz collections. Until then, who has won the war?" Dr. Abbas Sayyed Araghchi, Iranian Foreign Minister.
This statement has three important elements: belittling the enemy's original goal, declaring Iran's victory in the strategic Strait of Hormuz, and thanking former US President Donald Trump for what he calls unintended assistance.
