The statement was made by a senior Iranian official, Mohammad Bagher, who said that continued military action and pressure from the United States could lead to measures that will have a significant impact on international trade and the global economy.
According to Bagher, Iran believes that continued provocations and maritime blockades will force it to take measures to protect its national interests.
