US President Donald Trump has vowed to punish Iran following the deaths of three US soldiers, saying Iran was attacked "very hard" the previous night in honor of the soldiers killed, two in Jordan and one in Iraq.
According to the US Central Command (CENTCOM), two soldiers were killed in Jordan last week in an attack attributed to Iran, while a third soldier was killed in Iraq during the destruction of a downed Iranian drone.
Iran, for its part, said it had responded by attacking two oil tankers in the Strait of Hormuz, as well as US military installations in Bahrain and Kuwait, according to the state news agency IRNA.
Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian said Iran was now engaged in a "full-scale war" with the US, while insisting that diplomatic efforts through mediators were still ongoing despite the collapse of a previous ceasefire agreement. GET FULL STORY HERE.
