Iran's Position on the Management of the Strait of Hormuz and Its Relations with the United States

Diplomatic cooperation between the Iranian government and the United States has made strides in recent days, although the Iranian government continues to insist on charging fees for services and maintaining its leading role in managing the strategic Strait of Hormuz. 

A report by Al Jazeera shows how regional diplomacy is working amid security and economic tensions surrounding the world's main energy transit route.

Al Jazeera reported that an official delegation from Oman visited the Iranian capital, Tehran, to hold consultations and discussions on the future management of the waterway.
