Iranian military launches attacks on Jordan, targets two military bases

Security tensions in the Middle East have continued to rise after Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) claimed to have carried out attacks on two military bases in Jordan that it said were used by US forces.

According to a statement issued by the IRGC, the attacks were aimed at reducing the US ability to conduct air operations in the region. The military explained that the bases are part of the infrastructure used by US forces in their military operations in the Middle East.
