Iran Denies Report of Military and Weapons Commission in Yemen

Reuters reported that Iran sent commanders of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), military advisers, and weapons including missiles and drones to the Houthi rebels in Yemen this month. 

The report, which sparked intense diplomatic and security debate, was based on information gathered from several sources with deep knowledge of security issues in the Middle East.

However, the Iranian government has strongly denied the allegations made by Reuters, explaining the reality of the trip from its perspective. 

Iranian leaders and officials have stated that the trip in question did not have any military agenda or the transport of military equipment, but rather was intended to transport Yemeni citizens and a delegation of the Houthi group who had arrived in Iran to attend the funeral of a senior religious leader.......READ FULL STORY.
